If you’re going to be in St. Paul for the holidays, you have to swing by York Avenue. MSN recently profiled the most dazzling holiday light displays in all 50 states, and York Ave. took the top spot for Minnesota. The Schultz Family Lights at 1526 York Ave. are at the center of it all. In total, there are 11 yards decorated with Christmas figures and more than 60,000 lights choreographed to “The Rockin’ Rudolph”. The Schultz Family Lights website calls it the largest display yet.
The unbelievable light display will continue from 5 to 10 p.m. daily through December 31st. Check it out before it’s too late!
Note: The hosts are collecting food each night for the Merrick Food Shelf, supporting St. Paul’s Greater East Side. If you’re able to visit, please consider dropping off a canned good or too.
